Air Conditioning Helper
Air Conditioning Helper
Workforce Skills Award
Program Overview
Air conditioning systems control the temperature, humidity, and total air quality residential, commercial, industrial, and other buildings.
Air conditioning technicians install and service central air conditioning systems. When air conditioning equipment breaks down, technicians diagnose the problem and make repairs. To do this, they may test parts such as compressors, relays, and thermostats.
The Air Conditioning Helper Workforce Skills Award (WSA) program prepares students for an entry level job in the air conditioning field.
