Advising Process

If a student has 30 or fewer hours of college credit, they must call to schedule an appointment with an advisor.

If a student has 30 or more hours of college credit, advising is optional.

Undeclared and liberal arts majors do not need to schedule an appointment. They may go to the Student Enrollment Center, Room 127, Harvin Student Center on the Heritage Campus, Room 106, Coleman Center on the Windward Campus, or Suite MB 122D, Main Central Building on the Oso Creek Campus.

Bring the following to your appointment:

  1. Tentative schedule, including alternative classes.
  2. If you plan on transferring, the catalog of the college to which you plan to transfer.
  3. If this is your first semester at Del Mar College, copies of your transcripts from colleges previously attended.

After you have been advised, register online.

Available Hours

Heritage (EAST) CAMPUS

Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Windward (WEST) CAMPUS

Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

NORTHWEST CENTER

Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

OSO CREEK CAMPUS

Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
