Program Overview
Pipeline is an important part of the oil and gas industry and a staple in the Coastal Bend region. As a result, pipeline workers are in high demand.
Del Mar College’s Pipeline Training Program provides students the fundamentals of the pipeline and petrochemical industry to best prepare them for a viable career in the field.
Students learn about pipeline industry history, development, oil fields, pump stations and oil movements. Students become very familiar with industry language, safety and operations making them highly marketable when seeking employment in the field.

Admissions Requirements
- Students must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma/GED not required
- Recommended minimum of 9th grade level math and reading knowledge
