Program Overview
Rapid growth in the health, marketing, management, and other industries have resulted in the need for more administrative assistants. Administrative assistants are key to a smooth and efficiently run business. Our program provides instruction in basic office duties, clerical and organizational tasks, filing management, and electronic filing.
Students will be able to document telephone messages, process incoming and outgoing mail as required by organizational procedures and postal regulations, set up and maintain a basic filing system, and demonstrate office etiquette.

Testing Information
Students who successfully complete the program have the option to test for the Administrative Assisting credential from the National Occupational Competency Testing institute (NOCTI). For more information regarding the Administrative Assisting credential, please visit the NOCTI website.
