Program Overview
This short-term program prepares students for an entry-level position as emergency dispatchers. It equips students with foundational competencies needed for high-performance roles in emergency communication centers, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and data entry skills.
The program integrates two courses designed for the fast-paced, high-stakes environment of emergency dispatch. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the Emergency Telecommunicator Course (ETC) through the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED).

Admissions Requirements
- Students must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma/GED not required
Testing information
Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the Emergency Telecommunicator Course (ETC) through the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED).

- ITSW 1017 - $435 (This amount includes access to the IAED portal);
