Microsoft Teams Phone is a cloud-based phone system and replaces traditional PBX systems. Teams Phone offers a comprehensive calling solution that integrates voice and video calls with Teams chat, meetings, and collaboration.
All employees can log into the Microsoft Teams desktop, web, or mobile apps now and make audio or video calls to other DMC employees! Phone extensions are only required for those employees who need to make and receive external calls.
Desk phones can be requested for users who prefer a traditional phone experience.

Requirements
- An active DMC account.
- A Microsoft 365 license.
- The Microsoft Teams desktop, web, or mobile app.
- For external calls, a Teams Phone license and phone extension must be assigned to your DMC user account.
Data Security
- It is the account holder's responsibility to protect their account credentials, including usernames, passwords, and any other authentication information.
Get Started
All employees are assigned a Microsoft Teams license, allowing for internal calls and voicemail features.
Employees needing to make and receive external calls should have their supervisor raise a request for a phone extension.
