Estimated Nursing Program Costs
In addition to regular tuition, these are the typical expenses once accepted into the nursing program. All costs are subject to change:
Semester 1:
- Books (one-time cost $700–800)
- Two uniforms ($250)
- Stethoscope and watch ($50)
- Skills bag ($150)
- Drug screen ($40)
Semesters 2, 3, 4:
- Skills bag refills ($100)
Initial licensing fees:
- Texas Board of Nursing application fee is $75 for each license pursued VN and/or RN
- NCLEX exam fee with Pearson VUE ($200 per exam taken)
