ATI TEAS (UPDATED)

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Effective June 3, 2022, ATI TEAS Version 7 will replace Version 6.

All Del Mar College Department of Nurse Education (DNE) student applicants are required to pass the ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (ATI TEAS) as a condition of admission. The ATI TEAS must be completed prior to submission of an application to the nursing program.

ABOUT ATI TEAS

The ATI TEAS, or Test of Essential Academic Skills, is designed specifically to assess a student's preparedness entering the health science fields. The ATI TEAS test is comprised of 170 questions set up in a multiple-choice format with four-option answers. Questions are designed to test the basic academic skills you will need to perform in class in the areas of: Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage.

TAKING THE ATI TEAS

All students MUST contact DNE staff at (361) 698-2864, (361) 698-2892 or (361) 698-2809 to verify eligibility for a test date prior to registering for the test. Students who fail to verify eligibility with the nursing department will not be able to test.

In-Person ATI TEAS at DMC Testing Center

The Del Mar Testing Center administers ATI TEAS tests on Tuesdays at 9:00 am and 12:00 noon at the Del Mar College Testing Center in the Multi Service Center, Room 125 located at 3013 Ayers Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78404. Students may also request to test at the Oso Creek Campus Main Building (MB) room 312 at 7002 Yorktown Bvld, Corpus Christi, Texas 78414. Students must arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled test time.
