OWNING HER DREAMS

“The instructors understand the balance students have to maintain, and they encouraged me to keep pushing toward my goals.”

How did DMC help set you on your course to achieve your dreams?

“Del Mar College provided me with not only the academic foundation to grow as a business professional but also the confidence to expand my career beyond clinical dentistry. The coursework in business management directly helped me strengthen my consulting company, while my involvement in organizations like Alpha Beta Gamma and the Del Marketing Club gave me leadership opportunities and real-world applications of what I learned in the classroom.”

What is your best memory from your experience at DMC?

“The best part of my experience was the flexibility and support I received as a working professional and parent. The instructors understand the balance students have to maintain, and they encouraged me to keep pushing toward my goals. That type of support made it possible for me to thrive academically while running my own business.”

What advice would you give others who may be considering attending DMC?

“Don’t hesitate! DMC has so many resources and opportunities waiting for you. Take advantage of student organizations, networking events and leadership programs, because they are what transforms your education into a life-changing experience. The more you put into your time at DMC, the more you’ll get out of it. There are no barriers; you can do it completely online if you choose to.”

“DMC changed my life because…”

“DMC gave me the tools, support and connections I needed to turn my professional goals into reality.

“My journey was more than just working toward a degree. It was about growing personally and professionally. Balancing my career as a dental professional while pursuing my education wasn’t easy, but the encouragement and flexibility offered at DMC made it possible. I’m proud to represent DMC as both a student and a professional and look forward to inspiring others to follow their own dreams.”
