Faculty, staff, and students may now place holds on library materials through the Libraries' catalog to make them easier to access in support of teaching, research, and learning needs.
To request an item, navigate to the Libraries' online catalog, find an item you are interested in, and select “Place Hold” next to the title or “Reserve This Copy” at the bottom of the item record. The Libraries will send the book to your campus library of choice for you to pick up. Requests are typically fulfilled within one to five days, depending on transit schedules and staffing. If a requested item is currently checked out, it will be placed on the hold shelf for pickup after it is returned. Requestors will receive email notification when their requested item is available for pickup. Items will be held for seven days at the selected pickup location.
