Lance Brown is the Training Manager at Cheniere’s Corpus Christi Liquefaction facility and has over 20 years’ experience in oil and gas. Lance joined the CCL project in January 2017 during the beginning stages of operational readiness of Stage 1 and Stage 2 and is responsible for the facility’s compliance, competency, and technical training. He partnered with Honeywell to develop and deliver the first ever full LNG Plant virtual reality simulator that is fully integrated with the distributed control system simulator in use since December 2022.

Before joining Cheniere, Lance spent 15 years in offshore drilling and was Manager, Organizational Development for Hercules Offshore, responsible for leadership, compliance, competency, and technical training. He collaborated to help write the American Petroleum Institute Recommended Practice 2D 7th Edition and the International Association of Drilling Contractors Crane and Rigger Training accreditation program. Lance also served in the United States Marine Corps and is a Certified Training Manger.
