PHOTO IDENTIFICATION
Photo identification is required for all exams. Del Mar College identification or other student identification, driver license, passport or another form of government issued photo identification, are all acceptable forms of photo identification for DMC exams. Photo identification must be current. Original photo identification must be presented - photocopies, faxed copies and/or electronic copies are not allowed. EXAMINEES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EXAM THEY ARE TAKING.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES
NO electronic devices, including cellular phones, are allowed in the Testing rooms.
PERSONAL ITEMS
All personal belongings must be placed in the designated locker area. Examinees may not bring any prohibited items into the Testing Labs, including but not limited to: backpacks, purses, wallets, cell phones, electronic devices, watches, anything on wrists (including bracelets and hair ties), food/drink, any unauthorized testing aids. Examinees with prohibited items may house their belongings in a locker measuring 18(L) x 12(W) x 12(H). Items that do not fit in the locker need to be returned to the examinee's car, home or alternative location. Del Mar College is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
QUIET PLEASE
The Testing Center strives to provide a quiet, undisturbed testing environment. Please maintain that quiet atmosphere as you enter and exit the Testing rooms. The Testing Center provides ear plugs upon request.
INSTRUCTIONAL EXAMS
Examinees taking instructional exams for Del Mar College or any other school are responsible for providing their own required testing materials such as calculator, scantron, etc... The Testing Center will provide scratch paper and pencils. Examinees are NOT allowed to use textbooks, e-books or notes unless specified by the professor. The Testing Center will not hand out any exams within the last 30 minutes of operation and pick up exams 15 minutes before closing.
EXAM MATERIALS
Exam materials are the property of Del Mar College and cannot be removed from the Testing room. This includes the exam, scratch paper, scantron, etc...
RESTROOM BREAKS
Candidates are advised to use the restroom before entering the exam area. Examinees needing a restroom break during testing must turn in all testing materials before exiting the exam room. Examinees may not use any electronic devices, talk to other students or leave the building during the break.
UNATTENDED CHILDREN
Children are not allowed in the rooms used for testing. Please make other arrangements for children. Further, children are not allowed to be unsupervised in the Del Mar College Testing Center.
BEHAVIOR
Examinees are expected to display cooperative, respectful behavior. Examinees showing inappropriate or disrespectful behavior of any type including cheating, will be dismissed from the Testing Center and forfeit any test fees.
VIOLATION OF RULES
If a candidate violates the guidelines established by Del Mar College Testing Center or the institution providing the exam, the incident will be reported and your exam may be invalidated and test fees forfeited. Testing personnel can refuse service for any of the above violations.
The Testing Center will not hand out any exams 30 minutes before closing. Exams must be turned in at least 15 minutes prior to the closing time.
