April is the month for Secrets of the Chef!

    Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

    Now - April 15 |  Tuesdays and Thursdays | 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free income tax preparation services for those who make $67,000 per year or less. DMC Accounting students trained in tax and accounting software provide this service as part of the Coastal Bend VITA Coalition, a collaborative partnership headed by the United Way of the Coastal Bend.

    What to bring: Tax information, including W-2 forms, other documentation of earned income, Social Security cards for everyone being claimed on the return and a form of identification, such as a driver’s license or other photo ID.

    Appointments are not necessary; walk-ins are welcome.

    • Fee: No cost and open to the community.
    • Location:  DMC Heritage Campus, Viking Hall, Room 142
    • Days: Tuesday and Thursdays

     

    Medium Mash Up: Watercolor and Pastels

    Freedom to Dream Tuition Waiver Info Session

    Del Mar College is excited to introduce the Freedom to Dream Tuition Waiver, a pilot program that covers tuition and fees for up to three years for qualifying students beginning Fall 2025.

    Come to our information session to learn more about how you can benefit.

    Learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply.  Receive guidance on additional financial aid and scholarships. Participate in the Q&A session to answer all your questions.

    This program is specifically designed for students within the Del Mar College district, targeting high school graduates, dual enrollment students, and adult learners who have earned 12 credit hours or fewer. If you're starting your college journey and fall into one of these categories, don't miss this opportunity to learn how Del Mar College is dedicated to making higher education accessible and affordable.
