Scholarship Opportunities

2021-2022 Academic Year

Del Mar Drama offers scholarship opportunities to new and continuing Drama majors who are enrolled as full-time students.

  • Scholarships are available for students interested in Acting or Design/Tech.
  • Scholarship amounts vary and are dependent on available funding.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, submit applications online. All interviews will be conducted via videoconference with Del Mar Drama faculty.

This process is only for scholarships administered by the Del Mar Drama program.

STUDENTS CURRENTLY ON SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE 2020-2021 ACADEMIC YEAR NEED NOT APPLY. If you are on scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year, please look for communication from the Del Mar Drama Program.

APPLICATION

  1. New students: Apply for admission to Del Mar College.
  2. Declare Drama as your major.
  3. Submit your  Scholarship Application online.
  4. Application should include at least  1   email reference from a High School Theatre Arts teacher,  or (non-related) individual familiar with your creative work and potential.
  5. You will be contacted to arrange an online interview with Drama faculty.  

Audition/Interview

Instead of monologues or portfolio reviews, interviews will be conducted via video conference with Drama Faculty.
Interview arrangements will be made upon receipt of online application.
