TAMUK Joint Admission

TAMUK Joint Admission

DMC and TAMUK logos

Del Mar College and Texas A&M University-Kingsville have partnered to offer enhanced and streamlined services for students attending both institutions. This agreement can help provide a seamless transfer of DMC students to TAMUK and expand educational opportunities. The services made available by the agreement will result in students more easily achieving their goals.

This agreement applies to three program areas: Joint Admission, Reverse Transfer and Non-Academic Consortium Agreements.

  • Joint Admission allows students to take classes at both institutions concurrently and offers enhanced access to advising services, email accounts, online libraries and computer facilities.
  • Reverse Transfer enables students who enrolled at TAMUK prior to completing an associate’s degree at DMC to easily transfer their coursework back to DMC to complete their associate’s. A Reverse Transfer can be extremely advantageous to students interested in furthering their undergraduate degree or pursuing an advanced degree.
  • Non-Academic Consortium Agreements facilitate important services for transferring students such as financial aid, distance education and career services.
