COVID-19 Recovery

Students wearing face masks

Approximately 60 percent of our instruction is being delivered online
and 40 percent face-to-face.

As with all institutions of higher learning across the country, the COVID-19 pandemic has presented tremendous challenges for Del Mar College. We ceased normal, day-to-day operations in March 2020 and transitioned the majority of our classes to online learning. We also activated many services and programs to alleviate the difficulties our students have experienced due to the pandemic. Many of them are ongoing.

We’re encouraged by the determination of our students to continue their studies throughout disruptions to their lives from COVID-19. We hope for a strong rebound in enrollment as the pandemic recedes and our normal operations gradually resume.
