English As A Second Language (ESL)

We can help you learn English!

ESL courses are offered free of charge in the following counties: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio due to the TWC Grant award.

Classes cover basic English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Students will take introductory, intermediate & advanced level courses in a self-paced online or in-person at convenient locations.

Each class lasts 9 weeks, and can be taken on: Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays, from 9 AM to 12 PM or 6 PM to 9 PM.

Students who take ESL courses will have support and credential evaluation for internationally trained professionals. Those who enroll also have the opportunity to co-enroll in career training opportunities in the following areas:

  • Welding
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Administrative Assistant
  • Legal Secretary
  • Accounting
