Del Mar College offers the Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management and Leadership program designed to provide students with earned Associate of Applied Science degrees or Level II certificates an opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree in a targeted occupation at Del Mar College.

*Technical electives are to be chosen from coursework in an Associate of Applied Science degree or Level II certificate in which a student demonstrates expertise in a concentrated area.

**Core courses are prescribed by the core curriculum guidelines set forth by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board including eight (8) Foundational Component Areas and a Component Area Option, with a specified number of credits for each. Students may choose from any of the approved courses within a prescribed component area to meet the core curriculum course requirements.

Responsibilities for Completing the BAS-OML Degree

• Successfully complete 120 semester credit hours which includes 42 semester credit hours of general education core coursework, 45 semester credit hours of technical courses from an Associate of Applied Science degree or Level II certificate, and 33 semester credit hours earned in the BAS-OML major courses.
• Have completed an approved Associate of Applied Science degree or a Level II certificate and have earned a minimum of 60 semester credit hours. Note: All awards must be from a regionally accredited institution.
• Have general admission to Del Mar College.
• Have demonstrated college readiness in English, Reading, and Math.
• Have an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.
