Where to find citation information in a book’s title and copyright page:
APA Book Citations
Citations for books include:
- Author or editor’s name(s) (last name followed by first and middle initials; multiple authors are separated by commas and the ampersand symbol “&”)
- Date of publication (in parentheses)
- Title of book italicized (capitalize only first word of the title, first word of subtitle, and proper nouns)
- Publisher name
- DOI (always include if there is one) or URL (when using an ebook or audiobook version that is not part of a database)
Note: Include as much of the above information as possible in the reference entry. Any missing information may be left out.
