Mission Statement

The Center for Educational Advancement (CEA) drives teaching excellence and innovation by partnering with faculty to enhance student learning, workforce readiness, and educational access through evidence-informed pedagogy, modern distance education, accessible design, and the responsible integration of AI.

Collaboration in curriculum development represented by educators accessing resources such as textbooks, people, computers, and AI technology to develop ideas.

About the Center

Funded by the Department of Labor, the CEA is your institutional hub for faculty professional learning, instructional innovation, and practical support for teaching. The CEA staff will determine if your needs require specific AI instructional interventions, or general instructional design support.

AI Integration & Resources

Responsible AI integration cannot depend on one person. Let's work together to establish clear expectations for AI use in the classroom as well as distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate uses of AI.

Let's Learn, Explore, and Innovate Together

Welcome to the CEA!

This is a space for ideas, questions, collaboration, and discovery. Bring your curiosity, your challenges, or an idea you’d like to explore.

Our goal is to meet you where you are and work alongside you to find practical, thoughtful ways to strengthen teaching and support student success.

The best innovation happens through partnership, and we hope the CEA becomes a place where you feel comfortable experimenting, learning, sharing, and imagining what comes next.

Let’s explore what’s possible, together.
