APEX Accelerators

The goal of the Del Mar College APEX Accelerators is to assist any business interested in pursuing Federal, State, or Local government contracts.

Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center

The Innovation Center serves as a catalyst for innovative ideas by providing business advice for the entrepreneurial process and supporting the creation of sustainable, successful Coastal Bend businesses at every level of development. 

Contractor Resource Center

The Contractor Resource Center offer one-on-one advising to better prepare and connect area small businesses with large, multi-year commercial projects. This program is designed to assist local businesses, by expanding their capabilities in different areas needed to compete in the commercial arena for current and future projects.

Corpus Christi B Corporation (Type B)

The Del Mar College SBDC is in partnership with and funded by the Corpus Christi B Corporation (Type B). The purpose of Type B Incentive Fund is to provide economic development, specifically the promotion and development of new and expanded business enterprise to the full extent allowed by Texas law.

Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation

The Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation (CCREDC) is a non-profit organization responsible for creating, managing and supervising programs and activities that promote, assist, and enhance economic development throughout the Coastal Bend region.

Cyber Center

The Del Mar College Cyber Center was established to assist small businesses in learning about cyber threats and how to protect themselves through knowledge, processes, and employee training. The Cyber Center is also a resource for businesses seeking to contract with the Federal government to find assistance with CMMC compliance.

 

SCORE Corpus Christi

SCORE Corpus Christi and their volunteer business mentors are dedicated to providing the best possible service to help small business owners achieve their goals. Their volunteers are successful real-world business professionals who volunteer thousands of hours to help existing and startup businesses succeed.

Small Business Internship Program

The Small Business Internship Program (SBIP) provides an opportunity for small businesses in Corpus Christi to grow with the assistance of trained and motivated Del Mar College students who meet their specific business needs. The SBIP partners with small business employers who can offer students productive and meaningful work assignments at a living wage and with a learning component related to the student’s field of study. The primary goal of the SBIP is to provide support to small businesses in Corpus Christi to encourage business growth, job retention, economic development and job creation.

Veteran Business Outreach Center

The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) program is designed to provide entrepreneurial development services such as business training, counseling, and resource partner referrals to service members, veterans, National Guard & Reserve members, and military spouses interested in starting or growing a small business.

Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend

Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend supports an employer-driven, integrated system that consolidates employment, job training, and work-related services.
