CLINICAL REGISTERED NURSE PRECEPTOR CERTIFICATE 18.0 BLENDED CONTACT HOURS PLUS MENTORSHIP 6.0 CONTACT HOURS AT NURSING FACILITY SITE
Cost: $146.00 for all 8 weeks
These classes are for RNs who work at clinical sites with nursing students or those who onboard new hires. These classes are also suitable for nurse managers and educators from colleges and community healthcare facilities. Four hours of simulation are part of the contact hours.
Location: Del Mar College Continuing Education Campus, 3209 S Staples St.
Online, blended or on campus. Classes are in Canvas and do not require attendance on campus.

To earn the Clinical RN Preceptor Certificate, a Registered Nurse must successfully complete all 18 Educational Activity hours above and then complete a Clinical RN Preceptor Mentorship of 6 clinical days/over six weeks (6.0 Contact Hours) with RN Nursing Faculty who have completed and RN Faculty Mentor Certificate. Clinical RN Preceptor Mentorships are by arrangement
