Need Help Registering for 8-Week Classes?

We've got you covered.

Registration is underway for 8-week Session II classes, which begin on Oct. 19. If you need help registering, DMC staff members will be available to assist next Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 14-15, at the Harvin Student Center on the East Campus and the Coleman Center on the West Campus. We’re also offering virtual registration assistance at both centers now through Oct. 20. Click here to see 8-week class offerings. Classes will be delivered in online, hybrid and face-to-face formats.

Hours of operation are: 

  • Harvin Center: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday.   
  • Coleman Center: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday. 

Please note: Tuition payment for Session II classes is due by Oct. 20.

What do I do?

  • Join the Viking Virtual Line. Be sure to have your mobile device so you can receive texts.

    • Sign up in person when you arrive at the Harvin Center. Students should arrive at the south entrance, accessible from Kosar Street off Ayers Street. 
    • Call (361) 698-2014 and someone will assist. 
  • Wait in your vehicle until you receive a text to come in. Students will be required to wear face coverings at all times. We can provide a face mask if you don’t have one.
  • Proceed to the directed station to meet virtually with a student service representative. Only the student who is registering may enter the building.
  • If you need further assistance, a staff member will meet with you at a designated area.
  • Exit the building at the designated exit.

Health and safety protocols will be closely followed.

  • Students are asked to wait in their vehicles and avoid gathering before entering
  • Hand sanitizer and masks will be available
  • Virtual stations will be properly spaced to avoid close contact
  • Virtual stations will be wiped down by a staff member after every visit
  • Face-to-face conversations will be held in a secluded area with a Plexiglas shield between staff member and student.
