Career Pathways

A welder at workCareer Pathways is a series of connected education and training strategies that provide support services to enable individuals to secure industry relevant certification. Career Pathways also provides individuals with resources that help them obtain employment within an occupational area and to advance into higher levels of education and employment.

Accelerate Texas IV - Integrated Education & Training Program

In partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission, Del Mar College offers various "pathway" programs for students co-enrolled in Adult Basic Education classes and college credit courses. Students who are working their way towards earning their high school equivalency diploma are also eligible for free college classes in one of our Medical, Industrial/ Technical or Business Pathways programs. Classes are free of charge and available on the East and West Campuses.
