Parchment Services: If you are requesting a transcript to be mailed, please be aware that they are processed within 1-2 business days but do take a couple of days to be received as they are mailed from out of state.

Del Mar College uses Parchment to process online transcript requests. Make an account, choose your delivery options, and place your order AT NO ADDITIONAL COST from the College. 

Delivery times: 

  • E-transcript: Processed same day
  • Paper Transcript Mailed: Processed in 7-10 business days.
  • Paper Transcript for Pickup at DMC Registrar Office: Processed in 7-10 business days.
  • Paper Transcript via FedEx: Delivery time varies. Student is responsible for FedEx shipping fee ($25).

IMPORTANT: Please note that regardless of the delivery method, transcript requests for coursework/degree information completed prior to 1989 will require extra processing time. DMC is currently working towards converting all microfilm data into a digital format.  Due to the extensive nature of this process, Microfilm transcript requests will take longer than normal to process.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

Students may request a Del Mar College transcript be sent to another institution, or send a transcript from another institution to Del Mar College.

Transcripts will be processed within 7-10 business days in the order they are received except during peak times. Once processed they will be distributed per the student's request.

We cannot process email requests without your signature. You must attach your signed request form to your email after it has been physically signed.

Additional Information

  • Mailed transcripts are sent using U.S. Postal Service and therefore cannot be tracked.
  • We cannot email or fax transcripts.
  • We are unable to send transcripts electronically at this time.
  • Transcripts now show "Course in Progress" (CIP).
  • Transcripts for coursework prior to 1990 require extra processing time (approximately 7-10 business days).
  • The Registrar's Office does not issue High School Equivalency (formerly GED) transcripts. Please visit the Texas Education Agency-High School Equivalency website for Transcript and Certificate information.

Students unable to submit a request using Parchment may still use the PDF request form. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for processing. Note: Processing during peak times may be 7 to 10 business days.

Unofficial Transcript

Students may view and print unofficial transcripts through their WebDMC portal.

  1. Log in to WebDMC
  2. Click on "Academic Profile"
  3. Click on "Transcript"
  4. For Transcript Type, click on "Unofficial Transcript"

Transfer Evaluation Request Form

  • Students who have completed course work at another college or university and wish to have that credit evaluated for use on a degree plan at Del Mar College must provide official college and/or university transcript(s) from all previously attended institutions. After all transcripts have been received by the Student Enrollment Center and a completed Transfer Evaluation Request Form (TERF) has been submitted we can begin the evaluation process.
  • If you are a student who has earned credits from an institution outside the boundaries and territories of the United States toward a certificate or degree from Del Mar College, a course-by-course evaluation must be completed. If you would like your coursework evaluated, see the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) for an approved agency. These agencies are independent and not affiliated with Del Mar College. Del Mar College reserves the right to determine acceptability and/or placement of international academic credit. Evaluation by an international evaluation agency does not guarantee acceptance or use at Del Mar College.

All educational records at Del Mar College are maintained in accordance with state and federal laws.

Send a Transcript to Del Mar College

Students applying to Del Mar College must submit official transcripts as part of the enrollment process.

*Please note that DMC has a retention period of 1 year for prospective students. If you send your official transcripts to DMC, they will be held for a one-year time period. If a student does not officially enroll in classes at DMC, at the time that they reapply for admission, new official transcript(s) will be required to be submitted.

  • High School Transcript

    Official transcripts must have school seal stamped on transcripts as well as embossed seal (if applicable).

    Electronic Transcripts

    This method is ONLY for colleges that use any of the following methods for sending transcripts:

    • Parchment
    • SPEEDE Partnership

    If the service asks for an email address, the transcript must be sent to enroll@delmar.edu. It can take 24-72 hours for transcripts to be received.

    IMPORTANT: Scanned and emailed copies are not acceptable.

  • High School Equivalency (GED)

    Must provide a GED transcript retrieved from the Texas Education Agency or provide a GED certificate with scores indicated.

    Must have a graduation date and signature of parent and/or legal guardian who home-schooled student.

    A course-by-course evaluation must be completed if you wish to use credits obtained from outside the boundaries and territories of the United States.

    Must provide JST or CCAF transcript(s): CCAF official transcripts must be printed on school’s security paper.

    JST transcript requests are sent to Del Mar College’s Veterans Office.
