Even though we’re in the dog days of summer, now is the tine to register for Del Mar College fall semester credit courses to ensure getting the courses you need. “Early Registration” is underway but ends next Thursday, July 20, with payment for tuition and fees for registered courses due the same day.
Fall credit courses begin Monday, Aug. 28.
“Registering early is important and reduces students’ stress when trying to schedule and pay for courses as the first day of classes approaches,” says Dr. Rito Silva, vice president for DMC Student Affairs. “While the College will continue to offer registration opportunities, we encourage everyone planning to attend Del Mar this fall to take advantage of Early Registration to get the courses they need.”
The College will offer multiple “Late Registration” opportunities with separate payment deadlines. Payments missed will result with individuals’ schedules being stripped to open seats for the next round of registration. The final day to register for 16-week courses is Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Details about registration opportunities and payment deadlines are available online at www.delmar.edu/registration.
For anyone who needs advising before registering for credit courses, declared majors should seek advising through their academic departments during regular business hours. Undeclared or liberal arts majors should complete advising in the College’s Student Enrollment Centers in the East Campus Harvin Student Center or West Campus Coleman Center.
