“Pomp and Circumstance” Filling American Bank Center Arena Tonight as Fall 2016 Graduates Take Center Stage

Article by: College Relations Office

After finishing their last semester, Del Mar College’s newest “prospective” graduates are looking forward to the Fall 2016 Commencement Ceremony and walking into the American Bank Center arena to Pomp and Circumstance as family and friends cheer them on. The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. tonight, Dec. 16.

The College will award approximately 757 certificates and associates degrees combined to about 613 prospective December graduates after they hear the keynote address by local dentist and DMC alumnus Dr. Wayne H.  Morris, D.D.S./F.A.G.D.

The weather and water situation aren’t putting a damper on graduation, and the American Bank Center will have bottled water for sale during the event.

For anyone who can’t attend the event, Del Mar TV will provide a live webcast beginning 15 minutes before the ceremony starts at 7 p.m. Access the live stream at www.delmar.edu/webcasts
