    2015 – 2016 Annual Enrollment 

    It is that time of the year again. Our annual enrollment
    period is July 10th through July 24th. During this time you
    are able to review your current benefits and make any changes
    you want to make for the next plan year.

    16th at the Center for Economic Development. This event is
    open to all ERS participants. If you are unable to attend this

    Disability 
    Income protection is available for benefit-eligible employees in two plans: short-term (30-day waiting period) and long-term (180-day waiting period). For more information see the links below.

    Long-term coverage is provided by Del Mar College at no cost to the employee. It is important that the employee not waive this coverage at Annual Enrollment.  

    Life Insurance 

    ERS offers life insurance benefits for benefit-eligible employees. Coverage is available for employees only and for eligible dependents.

    Optional Life Insurance is available in 1 times up to 4 times a person’s annual salary. Del Mar College provides 1 times at no cost to the employee. It is important that the employee not waive this coverage at Annual Enrollment.  

    Tex Flex:
    Healthcare/Dependent care reimbursement account available to benefit-eligible employees to which they can opt to have the funds loaded onto a debit card for ease of use. The account does have maximum contributions set by the IRS and minimum amounts allowed by ERS.

    To enroll, choose a provider from the Authorized Provider Listing.
    Submit a Salary Reduction Agreement to Human Resources to begin payroll deductions.
    To process Distributions or Loan Transactions, submit paperwork to TSA Consulting using a Transaction Routing Request Form. Instructions are located on the form.

    Supplemental Plans
    Bay Bridge Administrators
    Del Mar College offers three supplemental plans to offer coverage in the event of cancer, heart attack, stroke or accidental injury (bone dislocation/fracture). These plans are available to all employees and offer coverage the employee only up to employee and family.
